Yay!! I'm back!

Ok, so after a few weeks sabbatical I went down to my basement and saw (Yikes!!) I have gaps!
So I said a prayer and wrote down what I thought I needed.
Now, My goal is to spend only 50 dollars a week on groceries. Last week I spent 40 on groceries I needed, so I spent 9 on Ground beef to freeze and replenish my food storage. This week I Only needed:

bananas .58lb. = 4.55,
yogurt 2.12 - 1.00 C = 1.12 each x 2,
eggrolls 2.28 each x 2,
eggs 2.18,
tapioca 2.56,
carrots - .98,
romaine lettuce 4.98,
cabbage .69,
Huggies baby body wash 2.98 - 1.00 C = 1.98 each x 2,
Suave body wash 1.73 - 1.00 C = .73
Grand total on Necessities = 27.43

Then I bought:


(4)Nalley pickles 1.76 - 1.00 C = .76 each
(2) Kraft ceasar dressing, 2.28 - 1.00 off 2 = 1.78 each
mushrooms .55
Marie callendars dressing 3.48 - 1.00 C = 2.48
(12) Chex Mix .98 -.50 C = .48 each,
(2) Quaker rice Snacks .98 - 1.00 C = Made .02 each
(2) Betty Crocker Potato mix .78 - .35 C = .43 each
Tomato Juice 1.18
(2) Snyder Pretzel snacks 1.88 - 1.00 C = .88 each,
(2)Frenchy mustard 1.32 - .50 = .82 each
Honey mustard 1.32 - .75 = .57
(2) Gold Fish crackers .98 - .50 = .48 each
(4) Wheat thins 1.65 - 2.00 off 2 = .65 each
8 bars of soap 2.15
(2) Juicy Juice 8 packs 2.18 - 1.00 C = 1.18 each

Grand total for food storage = 33.37

Total spent today = 60.80 which includes 9 dollars non food items.

New Year - thoughts

I probably won't be posting again on here for a while, We are currently on a budget crunch, which means I will be buying bare necessities for the next few months (fruits, veggies, meat and dairy) and where those don't go on sale very much I won't be spending the time looking for a little while.
